Important information about SNVIA certifications
SNVIA Certification Programs are for SNVIA members only. In order to take SNVIA exams, you must be an active member. Join SNVIA here.
Certifications are earned by passing the SNVIA exams — not simply by attending classes. While you can currently take the exam without attending classes first, we strongly advise members to attend any and all classes offered to best prepare.
Members who hold a Class I or Class II Irrigation Technician Certificate are not currently required to attend continuing education classes, as SNVIA does not yet require CEUs. However, we will be implementing a CEU requirement in the future — stay tuned for updates.
To keep your certification current, you must keep your SNVIA membership active. Memberships run on a calendar year (January–December) and require a renewal application and payment every year. If you go one full calendar year without renewing, you will need to re-take the exam to reinstate your certification.
